There is an impending issue now as regards the NYSC CNS

Complaints of Date of Birth (DOB) on CNS for 2019A Ex-Corps members
In respect of complains from Ex-Corps members on alleged wrong date of birth on their CNS, you are to collect the following for necessary correction;
i. Original CNS with alleged wrong DOB
ii. Photocopy of their WAEC Result bearing date of birth
iii. WAEC Result Verification Pin (which can be purchased at any big First Bank Branch)
Note Its WAEC Result Verification Pin and not WAEC Checker
iv. Introduction letter from the State Secretariat duly signed by the State Coordinator.
2. You can collate and make a single introduction letter with their names tabulated accordingly.
3. If you're issuing introduction letter to an Ex-Corps member, let him/her be aware that it will be processed by ICT before their CNS can be reproduced by Certification. The bottom line is that it will take sometime to process, so let them have that at the back of their mind.
4. Do not bother to collect the CNS of any Ex-Corps member with DOB challenge that cannot produce photocopy of WAEC Result because it will not be treated.
5. Please note paragraph four above. This is because some will claim to have only written NECO or NAPTEP.
For now these two cannot be verified but with the WAEC Result Verification Pin, the photocopy of WAEC attached can be verified from WAEC Portal.
6. It is adviceable you collect only the cases that present photocopy of WAEC & WAEC Result Verification Pin. Prepare introduction letter for them signed by the SC to submit on their behalf since they cannot get it immediately. So that when its ready for collection, you give them individual introduction letter to pickup.
7. The DOB on the CNS is gotten from Jamb database.
