The Five (5) foods that promote Ovulation

Ovulation is the release of an egg from your ovary into the fallopian tube.

It typically happens about 13-15 days before each start of your period. The timing of ovulation can differ from your period cycle to cycle.

In this short article, I will discourse the five (5) foods you should consume that promote ovulation.

1. Beans

Particularly black beans because it is rich in phytoestrogens. Start eating from the day you finish your period for about six (6) days. At that time, estrogen level rises to support the development and growth of healthy eggs.

2. Whole grains

Oats are rich in vitamins B and E. These are essential for cellular reproduction and the creation of healthy eggs, sperm, and hormone balance.

3. Green leafy vegetables

Consuming green leafy vegetables enables your egg quality, therefore raising your chances of getting pregnant, staying pregnant, and preventing neural tube deformities in pregnancy.

4. Fatty fish

Some fatty fish like Salmon, mackerel, and sardines have omega (3) and omega 6. They are essential fatty acids that help regulate reproductive health, improve blood flow and enhance the quality of eggs and sperm.

5. Eggs

Eggs contain essential fatty acids and amino acids that are important for reproductive function. They are valuable sources of protein, essential vitamins, and minerals, all of which can make a significant contribution to a healthy reproductive system.

These are some signs of ovulation:

After two weeks of your monthly period, you may feel the following symptoms.

  1. Headache
