nigeria man explains how he was scammed

A Nigerian man has narrated his ordeal at the hands of human traffickers who lied to him that he would be travelling to Italy by ship, only to travel by boat. The man, who used to operate a barbing saloon before embarking on a journey from Nigeria to Europe, said they were arrested after spending about six hours on sea. Photo credit: IOM Nigeria Source: UGC He said: "They brought a balloon boat, then I said 'you guys told me in Nigeria that I'm going to board a ship, not a boat', but they told me 'you don't have any say here, just move on alongside other people, don't worry, you will be in Italy in less than four hours." The victim said they boarded the board in the evening, but after spending about six hours on sea, they couldn't find any rescue. He said: "Then a flying boat just came, we thought it was Italy rescue, we never knew it was Libya rescue. They came and they took all of us down to prison.
