Reactions As Two Nigerian Students Get Arrested with Hard Drugs in India.

Nigerians have reacted as 23-year-old Abbas and Ibrahim, 29 were both arrested on Monday by the Indian police for allegedly peddling hard drugs at Malviya Nagar.

It was reported that Abbas had traveled to Jaipur in 2016 as a foreign student from Ajaro, Nigeria, but dropped out after just two semesters. While On his part, Ibrahim, had gone to Rajasthan in 2015, from Kano, to pursue a degree in Pharmacy. He finished and graduated in 2019.

The police said that the duo had been under surveillance for the past couple of months. During the investigation, it was discovered that Ibrahim, was not working for two years at a stretch but lives a luxurious lifestyle and parades all the private universities in and lounges all day in cafes. Ibrahim on the other part graduated but lives illegally in an apartment said to be acquired by the LIC.

The police moved in and found drugs in large quantities in their possession. The drug was allegedly supplied to them by another Nigerian and the police have commenced the process to nab him as soon as possible.

Going by the names of the suspects, Nigerians are shocked that the suspects are from the Northern region as many allege that only a particular tribe in the country that are popular for committing crimes. Here are some of the hilarious reactions…
